I’m probably not your typical “blogger.” My life is not crazy exciting, it’s actually pretty ordinary. I didn’t grow up in a perfect family [although my parents and siblings are absolutely amazing], and I certainly do not have a perfect life. I went to college and got my degree in Psychology – something I am passionate about yet cannot seem to find that one job that “I love so much I don’t have to work a day in my life.”
What I can tell you, is that I absolutely love my life. As ordinary and chaotic as it may be, I find beauty in the simple, small things. I am happy with the woman I am and continue to become, and I adore the life that I have built with my wonderful husband, Greg, and our three fabulous fur-babies [Gunny, Lucy & Lola]. I’m a new mom to our little boy, Bodhi, who is absolutely perfection. I have a select few amazing friends and an even better family, and I thoroughly enjoy that this is what I get to do every single day.
I love food. I love writing. I love sarcastic humor.
But most importantly, I love honoring my body and finding ways that make me feel good. Something that did not happen over night but took a lot of practice, patience and persistence.
I have been through relatable circumstances that I want to pour out onto this scratch pad and into your ever-so accepting hearts and souls. I’m here to talk about the good and the bad, the ups and the downs, the ugly and beautiful truths. I’m passionate about health, nutrition, self-love and the ooey-gooey in-betweens.
Join me as we dive deep into holistic healing and healthy habits, while having fun and not taking life so seriously. It doesn’t have to be complicated, and it certainly shouldn’t be boring!
I hope to spread positivity and share with you my knowledge and experiences that got me to where I am today! I’m here to guide you in the right direction and help you confidently make healthy choices to live a balanced and fulfilling life. My goal is to make it easier for each and every one of you to live your best lives. As hard or as easy as it may be, I’m right here with you.
